Deepest Pool in the world

Nemo 33 is a recreational diving center in Brussels, Belgium that is home to

the world's deepest swimming pool. The pool itself consists of a submerged

structure with flat platforms at various depth levels. The pool has two large

flat-bottomed areas at depth levels of 5m (16 ft) and 10m (32 ft), and a large

circular pit descending to a depth of 33m (108 ft). It is filled with

2,500,000 litres of non-chlorinated, highly filtered spring water maintained

at 30°C (86°F) and contains several simulated underwater caves at the 10m depth level. There are numerous underwater windows that allow outside visitors to look into the pools at various depths. The complex was designed by Belgian diving expert John Beernaerts as a multi-purpose diving instruction, recreational, and film production facility, and opened in 2004.

You can take only a few items of your own dive kit (computer, mask, pool fins) but no BCD, fins that require booties, regulators(unless they have an integrated air linked to your computer - but no DIN fittings at all). torches, etc... You are not allowed to practice any skills unless you have an instructor in your group.

Brand Pitt and Angelina adopting?

MANILA, Philippines – A tweet has revived rumors that Hollywood actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are interested in adopting a Filipino child.

The tweet posted Feb. 28 read: “Confirmed: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt inquired about possible adoption of a Filipino child from Hospicio de San Jose in Manila.”

Although it did not site a source, this particular bit of info has been re-tweeted by the site’s users, including by @Karen_DaviLa. The item was also later picked up by several tabloids, and mentioned on a Journal Online news update on Mar. 1.

Geronimo, who claims to have participated in outreach programs at Hospicio de San Jose, insisted that he was assured that all adoption inquiries made to the institution are confidential. Geronimo is not a spokesperson of the orphanage, nor is he affiliated with it.

It will be noted, however, that power couple dubbed Brangelina’s latest adoption issues, as of February this year, have to do with a child from Haiti and not from the Philippines. The couple has been rumored to be in the “latter stages” of adopting a seventh child into their brood—which is something the couple has denied through their spokesperson.

Despite the many rumors and even jokes surrounding Pitt and Jolie, especially with regards to adopting more children, they are nevertheless a picture of a happy tight-knit family. They already have their adopted children: son Maddox, nine, from Cambodia in 2002; Zahara, six, from Ehtiopia in 2005; and Pax, seven, from Vietnam in 2007. The couple also has three biological children: four-year-old Shiloh and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

Christmas Party '10

We had our Christmas Party this morning after taking our last examinations. I’m glad that our examinations are finished and we can spend our vacation without worries but we have projects that needs to be pass on January 3^rd. Our Christmas party was very fun because we get some icing cake from the cake and put it on each other’s face and there are some who throws water. First, we are ask to describe who are SP's were and gave the gift we also hugged each other. Awwee sweet! I receive a gift from my SP and she was my best friend and I never thought that she got my name. But the time for our Christmas Party was short we got only 30 mins or an hour to celebrate but although its short it was worth it. Merry Christmas and Advanced Happy New Year!

Play - Preparations

During the preparations for the play we are all very busy deciding what will be our play. Some of my classmates search some plays and share it to the class. But we didn’t like the play what they wanted so we need to search more but suddenly our CAE teacher suggested “One Night with the King”. And we are very grateful that one of my classmates had a DVD and so we watch it and decided that it will be our play. First of all, One Night with the King is base on the story about Esther in the Bible. Our scriptwriters find time to search for the script that exactly like the movie and they had a difficult time searching for it. Almost after a week they have to produce the script and distributed to us. I was the Technical Manager so I’m in charge in the technicals and also I’m part of the spotlight people because I have experienced it last year in our 1^st year play.

However; the one here is a new paradigm. Volkswagen is building a low priced compact car named Gol in Brazil since 1980. This model gave birth to VW Mini-Gol in 2008 which is approximately 30% of the size of the original. Its compact yet lucid size is perfect for little people (5-foot or less).

Artist Temujin Doran has come up with a super way to advertise the toy brand Lego. He simply takes photos of small Lego figures placed in real-life situations.

The interesting part is how he manages to pick the right Lego for the right scene. The fact that he can find an appropriate Lego for almost any situation is a true testament to the vast library of available Legos.
